Using the Password Vault

Updated 2 July 2026

The Vault is encrypted storage for website credentials: WordPress logins, FTP details, hosting panels, and more. Credentials are tied to your site, not your user account.

This using the password vault guide gives you practical steps you can apply quickly, with a focus on reducing downtime and keeping your WordPress site stable and secure.

Add a vault item

  1. Open the site workspace and go to Vault.
  2. Click Add Item and choose the credential type.
  3. Enter the details and save. Items are encrypted when stored.

When developers access credentials

Assigned developers can redeem vault items when working on your fix. Every redemption is logged in your activity feed. You can delete or update items at any time.
