Notifications & Email Preferences

BugShield keeps account and site updates in one notification feed. Notifications can link directly to the relevant fix request, support conversation, backup or monitoring result.

Use the notification feed

• Open Notifications from the dashboard sidebar.
• Switch between All and Unread views to focus the list.
• Search the current site’s notification history.
• Open a notification to follow its action link and mark it read.
• Use Mark all read when you have reviewed the feed.

Choose optional emails

Open Settings > Notifications to control optional account emails. Current choices include fix request updates, unread chat reminders and marketing emails. Operational or security messages that BugShield must send may not be controlled by these optional preferences.

Browser notifications

If your browser asks for notification permission, allowing it can surface important account events while the dashboard is open, including fix progress, credential requests, backup failures and monitoring findings. Browser permission is controlled by your browser or operating system.

Notifications follow the active site

Site-specific notifications are filtered to the workspace you are viewing. If an expected alert seems missing, switch to the affected site and check both All and Unread views. See Managing Multiple Sites for more about changing the active workspace.
