What is the BugShield Affiliate Programme?
The BugShield Affiliate Programme rewards approved partners for referring new customers who buy an eligible Shield Light or Shield Pro subscription through a valid tracking link.
How much commission can I earn?
The first paid Shield Light subscription invoice earns £50 and the first paid Shield Pro subscription invoice earns £100. Each following normal monthly renewal earns 10% of the amount BugShield receives, excluding VAT and after discounts.
How long does affiliate tracking last?
A valid affiliate click creates a 30-day browser cookie across BugShield's website and account subdomains. The last valid affiliate click before an eligible subscription checkout receives attribution.
Which BugShield purchases earn commission?
Commission applies to paid Shield Light and Shield Pro subscriptions attributed through a valid affiliate link. One-off fixes and other non-subscription payments do not earn commission.
When does commission become available?
Each commission remains pending for 45 days after BugShield receives the related payment. This validation period allows for cancellations, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks to be reflected accurately.
How are affiliate payouts made?
When your available balance reaches £10, you can request a PayPal payout for the full amount through your affiliate dashboard. The payout is sent to the PayPal email saved on your account.
Do subscription renewals earn affiliate commission?
Yes. Each normal monthly renewal after the first paid invoice earns 10% of the amount BugShield receives, excluding VAT and after coupons or discounts.
Does the first subscription invoice also earn 10%?
No. The first paid invoice earns the fixed £50 Shield Light or £100 Shield Pro commission. The 10% recurring commission begins with the following normal monthly renewal.
What happens if a referred subscription is cancelled or refunded?
A cancellation during the 45-day pending period revokes that payment's commission. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks can reverse the related commission at any time.
Which affiliate receives credit after multiple referral clicks?
The last valid affiliate click before an eligible subscription checkout receives attribution, provided the 30-day cookie remains available.
Can I create separate links for different campaigns?
Yes. The affiliate dashboard lets you create separate tracking links for different channels and view each link's clicks and conversions.
Where can I monitor affiliate performance?
Your affiliate dashboard shows tracked clicks, pending and available balances, recent commissions, campaign performance, and withdrawal history.
