Searching Your BugShield Workspace

Workspace search helps you find information without opening each dashboard section individually. Most site-specific results come from the website currently selected in the workspace selector.
Open workspace search
- Select Search near the top of the dashboard sidebar.
- You can also press Ctrl+K on Windows or Linux, or Command+K on macOS.
Search your workspace
- Enter at least two characters in the search field.
- Review the matching results and their labels, such as Fix Request, Vault Item or Log.
- Select a result to open the relevant dashboard section.
What you can find
- Fix requests and their conversations.
- Vault items and Site Notes.
- Activity Log events.
- Invoices associated with your BugShield account.
- Completed backups and Subscriber Support messages for a maintenance site.
Search a different website
Search results only include fix requests, Vault items, Site Notes, Activity Logs, backups and support messages for the selected site. To search another website, choose it from the workspace selector and open Search again. Read Managing Multiple Sites for more about switching workspaces.

Why can I not find information from another website?
Most search results follow the selected site workspace. Switch to the other website and search again.
Can I use Search to find an invoice?
Yes. Search can find invoices associated with your BugShield account.
Can I search with a keyboard shortcut?
Yes. Use Ctrl+K on Windows or Linux, or Command+K on macOS.
Why do backups and support messages not appear in my results?
Backups and Subscriber Support are maintenance-plan features, so those result types appear for sites with an active Shield Light or Shield Pro subscription.
